Emmental was the first cheese produced by Pâturages Comtois. That’s how much it means to us! Over time, our teams’ expertise has enabled us to shift production towards Emmental PGI and Gruyère de France PGI. Two cheeses of the highest quality, made using traditional methods.

The fresher the milk,
the better the cheese
We collect the milk from member farms within a 45-kilometre radius of our historic site. It therefore takes very little time for this 100% local milk to reach our Cooked Pressed Cheese workshop. This close relationship with our producers ensures that our raw ingredients retain as much of their nutritional value and flavour as possible.
