Baked Camembert

Recette Baked Camembert

Ingredients

1 Val de Saône Camembert, 2 onions, 200 g bacon lardons, 5 potatoes, A pinch of bouquet garni powder, Parsley, Garlic, Honey, Salt and pepper

Preparation

 

  1. Steam the potatoes. Meanwhile, chop the onions and fry them in a pan. When the onions are golden brown, add the bacon lardons and cook them lightly.
  2. In an ovenproof dish, spread out the onion and bacon mixture, adding a little powdered bouquet garni. Cover this mixture with the potatoes, cut into thick slices.
  3. Slice the Val de Saône Camembert. Cover the potatoes with the Val de Saône Camembert (rind side up). Sprinkle the Val de Saône Camembert with a little chopped garlic and parsley.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes at 160°C. After 15 minutes of cooking, the Val de Saône Camembert will have melted; this is the moment to brush it with 2 tablespoons of honey. Return the Camembert to the oven for a further 10 minutes.

Finally, once the honey has melted and the Val de Saône Camembert has coated the potatoes, all that remains is to enjoy.
